Dr. Berger is Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery Seton Hall graduate School of Medicine. He is actively involved in the Orthopaedic Residency teaching program at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Paterson, New Jersey.

Dr. Berger is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery; Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; New Jersey Regional Examiner for the American College of Surgeons; Fellow of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Berger’s extensive body of work in orthopaedics includes published research focused on enhancement of surgical treatment of spinal fractures, intervertebral disc diseases, total joint replacement, and hand surgery.

Dr. Berger holds multiple US Patents for technological devices and innovations in orthopaedic surgery.

He is past team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Fair Lawn High School Football Team. In 1990 Dr. Berger received recognition as a team physician for the US National World Cup Soccer Team.

He has been recognized with multiple professional awards. Dr. Berger received the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center Distinguished Physicians Award in 2009.

Dr. David Blum

David A. Blum, M.D. is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. He has been in practice in Plantation, Florida since 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida where he became an invited member of the academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Blum received his medical degree at the University of Florida in 1994. After completing a surgical internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Dr. Blum spent a year doing orthopaedic research. He has published articles in respected orthopaedic journals. He then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-New Jersey Medical School (1996-2001).

Dr. Blum went on to further training by completing a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He learned the latest surgical techniques and treatments at one of the world's leading medical centers.

After completing his fellowship in 2002, Dr. Blum returned to Florida and developed a successful orthopaedic practice treating hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder disorders in children and adults.

Dr. Elizabeth Anne Ouellette

Dr. Elizabeth Anne Ouellette obtained her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Texas in 1978. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine for her Orthopaedic Residency training which was completed in 1983. She came to Miami in 1984 for her Hand Fellowship at the University of Miami. Following her fellowship she remained at the University of Miami for over 20 years where she achieved rank of Professor Emeritus and was also the Chief of Hand Surgery. In addition, while at the University of Miami, Dr. Ouellette obtained an MBA degree from the School of Business. Dr. Oullette has been the Chief of Hand Surgery and the Director of the Hand Fellowship program at the Jackson Memorial Hospital since 1991.

Dr. Oullette's research interest in hand encompasses a wide range of areas, including biomechanics of wrist instability, repair of injury nerves, skin coverage and psychological intervention for the upper extremity trauma patients. Her research efforts have resulted in over 13 chapters, more than 20 peer reviewed articles and numerous presentations at academic meetings all over the world.

Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez, MD, FACS, FAAOS

Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez has been practicing in the Miami-Dade region for over 10 years. He received his Medical Doctorate at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Thereafter, he completed his orthopaedic residency program at the world famous Case Western Reserve University and participated in multiple orthopaedic and hand surgery fellowship programs including:

  • The Muller Foundation Fellowship and an AO/ASIF (Surgical Internal Fixation) -- Bern, Switzerland

He has presided as president of the international organization, “La Federacion de Mano / The Federation of Hand Societies” and is an active member of the American Association of Hand Surgeons. He was on the board of directors for the American Fracture Association and has participated in and chaired multiple instructional courses both in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez has been around medicine his entire life. He was born in a small community in Mexico where his father was the chief surgeon. At an early age, he became familiar with the concepts of patient care. Interests

Dr. Seltzer has been practicing orthopaedic surgery in Palm Beach County since 1989. Dr. Seltzer is trained in the subspecialty of hand, wrist and elbow. Dr. Seltzer performs total joint replacements of hips, knees, elbows, wrists and fingers as well as knee and wrist arthroscopy. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at Nova Southeastern University. He has been teaching medical students, interns and residents since 1989. After receiving his medical degree from Albany Medical College (Albany, NY), Dr. Greenblum did his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Mainmonides Medical Center in New York City.
