Inflatable Tissue Elevator Expander

The LB Medical Inflatable Tissue Elevator/Expander System is a surgical tool intended for use as a conventional manual elevator for orthopaedic, plastic and general surgery, including use to access the carpal tunnel region during carpal tunnel release procedures. It is similar to a traditional elevator but:

• It features a manually inflatable directional balloon component at the distal end.
• The balloon is inflated/ deflated with saline via a manual inflation syringe system with an integral pressure gauge.

Intended Use:
The LB inflatable Tissue Elevator/Expander System provides surgeons with a minimally invasive option for tissue elevation, dissection and expansion.

Utilizing balloon technology the device is 510k approved to use as a surgical tool intended for use as a conventional manual elevator for orthopaedic or general surgery including use to access the carpal tunnel during carpal tunnel release procedures.

The LB Inflatable Tissue Elevator device is sterilely packaged for single disposable use. It is supplied with a separate sterilely packaged inflation syringe with integral inflation gauge.

The system is ergonomically designed and compliments LB Medicals other modular components and ancillary products to perform standard and newer minimally invasive hand and wrist surgical procedures, orthopaedic, podiatric and general surgical uses.

Use for Carpal Tunnel
